The Raritan Fire Company is rich in history as we are the oldest fire company in Somerset County,
incorporated in 1870. We are a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to the well being of the
residents, business owners, and visitors. On average, the fire department responds to 250-300
calls per year. Our current fleet includes three pumpers, one aerial ladder, one utility vehicle,
and one command vehicle.
