"Regular" Garbage Pickup is Once a Week
The next "Bulk" Trash Pickup will be in March 2012 on the 2nd Thursday
There is no longer Bulk Trash Pickup November through February.
"Regular" Garbage Pickup
Monday - Zone 1 Area includes (see map)
South of the railroad tracks;
East of, and including, Weiss Terrace

Tuesday - Zone 2 Area includes (see map)
West of Weiss Terrace; South of Route 202;
but North of the railroad tracks.

Wednesday - Zone 3 Area includes (see map)
North of Route 202. Also includes Somerset St.

If a holiday occurs during the week, the regular garbage pickup
schedule is moved up one day for that week.
2012 Holidays are - Presidents Day (Feb 20th)
- Good Friday (Apr 6th) - Memorial Day (May 28th)
- Independence Day (Jul 4th) - Labor Day (Sep 3rd)
- Columbus Day (Oct 8th) - Veterans Day (Nov 12th)
- Thanksgiving (Nov 22nd) - Day after Thanksgiving (Nov 23rd)
- Christmas Eve (Dec 24th) - Christmas Day (Dec 25th)
Do not place debris generated from construction activity at the curb for pick up by the Borough of Raritan during normal collection days or bulk pick up days. All construction related debris must be disposed of privately.

The Raritan Public Works Department has been directed to report the placement of construction related debris placed at the curb to the Building Department. In the event the debris is not removed from the curb within 24 hours of receiving notice to do so, monetary penalties will be imposed in the amount of $500.00 dollars per day until such time that the material is removed.
