Project Reports:
Picture Display:  Jane was unable to take pictures to the August Senior’s Picnic due to their heavy agenda.
  She will take them in September.  Then she will seek permission, beginning with Dan Jaxel, to hang pictures
 in the Meeting Room in the basement of Borough Hall.
During the Somerset County History Weekend Jane will make a display of historic pictures that will be shown
 at the library.  Jane will be the docent at the library for this event.

Oral Histories:  Jim Fidacaro reported that he has settled on questions to be asked in the oral histories
 and he will proceed as soon as he can.  Sadly, Augie Senna has died in the interim.
It was recommended that we keep open communication with Bruce Doorly, Don Esposito and John Pacifico so 
we can consult them as needed.
Herb Hall will be here for the October meeting to give a presentation on what he can do regarding the
 taping of oral histories.
Carl Memoli said there are cabinets in the Fire House that we can have for storage of oral history materials.

Old Business:  We like the idea of putting historic pictures in the town calendar.  Victor Laggini is
 in charge of the calendar.
Pete Vitelli sent some pictures for us to look at.  Thanks to Pete!

New Business:  (This added since meeting.)  Debbie spoke with Victor Laggini and we have a spot 
for Meet your Neighbor Day.  We need a table and chairs and we need to discuss what we would like to showcase.
  Maybe a sign is needed.  Also who would like to work this event. 
 The event is on the 10th of October in Frelinghuysen Park.

Next meeting will be 7pm Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
