The Raritan Police Department is participating in The Register Ready Program - there are 2 Web Sites

The 1st Web Site is a Special Needs Registry - designed to help emergency responders locate and safely evacuate people who could find it difficult to help themselves in the event of a major disaster, such as a hurricane. We are in the beginning stages of the program. The NJ Special Needs Registry is Free, Voluntary, Strictly Confidential, Protective of your privacy and a way to protect you in the event of a major emergency. Register at www.registerready.nj.gov

The 2nd Web Site is an Advisory Website for all residents - This will provide all residents about local police departments, schools and other gov’t agencies - send geo-targeted alerts and advisories to your residents by text message. This is a very important site for all residents. The Raritan Borough PD update this date on a regular basis. Residents will be able to get up to the mintue advisories about road closing, severe weather conditions, school closings, up coming events, etc. Register at www.nixle.com
