Uniform Construction Code

The department is responsible to administer and enforce the regulations and requirements of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.

Review permit applications and plans for proposed construction projects to ensure they are in compliance with State, County, and Local Codes and Regulations.

Inspect construction projects throughout all phases and issue Certificate of Occupancy and Approval.
