Please Note: The area is expected to see snowfall starting at midnight tonight with projected totals anywhere between 4 and 6 inches.

Parking of any vehicle on any portion of any Borough of Raritan public road, street or highway is prohibited whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that the road, street or highway is snow covered. To facilitate the clearing of our roadways, the borough has designated the following overflow parking areas:


-Raritan Borough Municipal Building
-Raritan Train Station
-Thompson Street municipal parking lot
-Mill Street
-Washington School property

Vehicles left on the roadway at the start of plowing operations will be issued a summons.

If you have a vehicle that is parked on the street and cannot be moved due to a mechanical issue, please let us know.
