To regulate the collection and disposal of bulk trash items, the Borough of Raritan provides curbside pickup in compliance with the Statewide Solid Waste Management Plan adopted by the NJDEP.
 

For better cost control and efficiency, we are implementing a Bulk Sticker Program for disposal of bulk items. In addition, to promote sustainability and encourage a greener community, the Borough recommends recycling and responsible disposal of bulk items whenever possible.
 

Under this program, each household will receive 10 free bulk item stickers for 2026. Additional stickers may be purchased at a cost of $5.00 per sticker. Bulk item stickers (free and additional) can be picked up/purchased at the Public Works Office at Borough Hall between the hours of 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., a government issued ID or valid lease agreement will be required to verify current address. Each item or bag placed at the curb for collection requires one (1) sticker.
