Stormwater Management
The Department of Public Works is responsible for and maintains the Stormwater Catch Basin System which is a separate infrastructure from the Sanitary Sewer Collection System.
The Stormwater Catch Basin System collects rainwater and directs it to the waterways through catch basins and outfalls whereas the Sanitary Sewer Collection System directs sewer wastewater to the treatment plant.
